Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Ranked Play Launches with Rewards

-

Black Ops 6 now offers Ranked Play for those who crave fierce battles, following the competitive rules of the Call of Duty League.

Ranked Play in Black Ops 6 isn’t about Prestige levels. It’s crafted for the hardcore gamers aiming to engage in multiplayer matches that mirror COD’s official esports league settings. To dive into this competitive realm, players need to secure 50 wins in multiplayer games. The cool part? Wins from even before Season 1’s launch count toward this goal. Once inside, players can climb through ranks like Bronze, Silver, and all the way up to Top 250.

The system is simpler than before, with eight ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent, and Top 250. Skill Rating (SR) is the key to moving up, but be careful—losing a match can drop your SR, too. Rewards are a big deal here. As you achieve higher ranks, you unlock various skins for the Competitor operator, starting at Gold. These skins are yours right away, not just at season’s end, except for the elite Top 250 and Champion skins.

Fans feel that cross-play is a bit of a bummer, as many prefer to choose who they play against.

There’s a whole treasure trove of goodies to earn. Beyond just the skins, there’s a Knife Blueprint, a Frag Grenade Skin, a win-tracking Gunscreen, and more. Plus, each season brings its own exclusive rewards, only available for that season’s duration. Exciting, right?
