In Cyberpunk 2077, a player decided to max out their level before even starting the main story, which is quite a task.
Imagine spending over 40 hours just leveling up in a game before the story begins! That’s what a Reddit user named uO__Ou did. They shared on Reddit how they completed the first few missions and then found a way to sneak out of the Watson area. This sneaky move let them focus on reaching level 50. Check out their post here.
Leveling up was a slow grind because the usual missions weren’t available yet. By hanging around places like the Batty Hotel in Pacifica, uO__Ou fought enemies and slowly gained experience. Although it took them over 40 hours, they believe they could have done it in less than 35 hours with better tactics.
Fans sometimes do amazing things just for the fun of it.
Normally, playing through the main campaign would be quicker to reach the level cap, since missions give out lots of experience points. If you’re curious and want to try it yourself, Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty expansion are on sale for $40 during Black Friday for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Oh, and by the way, while there’s no PS5 Pro upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077, you might get a chance to play the sequel early when CD Projekt Red does playtests.
