The game doesn’t have a name yet, but it might look a bit like Little Nightmares with its spooky style. Even though it has creepy enemies and dark scenes, it’s not a horror game. The studio calls it a "sci-fi action-adventure" running on Unreal Engine 5. Some enemies look like they belong in a "In space, no one can hear you scream" movie. No one knows when it will come out.
Epic’s been busy; they worked on Alan Wake 2, which everyone loved. It was digital at first but now you can hold it in your hands on consoles. Section 9 said Epic gave them "incredible support and the freedom to fully explore our creative vision."
Epic’s got other cool projects going, like Playdead’s next game. You might know them from Limbo and Inside. And Fumito Ueda’s GenDesign is also in the mix, famous for games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
People love it when studios get creative freedom!
Meanwhile, Section 9 isn’t the only one trying to capture that eerie vibe from Little Nightmares. Tarsier is busy with a new game called Reanimal, and Supermassive is taking on Little Nightmares 3.
