Fortnite Adds Wallrunning Feature from Fan

-

Epic Games dreams of turning Fortnite Creative into a place where games don’t look anything like the battle royale mode.

Duuk, a young creator from the Netherlands, made a cool map in Fortnite Creative. It’s a 10-player free-for-all game, and it lets you run on walls like in other popular shooting games. Check it out here: Fortnite Creative map.

To find the map, just search for this code in the Discover tab: 9756-5951-6748.

When you enter the game, you see everything in first-person. There’s a little practice area to try wallrunning before jumping into the main map, which looks like a warehouse.

Although the wallrunning isn’t as smooth as in Titanfall or Call of Duty, mixing it with Fortnite’s moves and items like shockwave grenades is fun.

People have been guessing that Fortnite might add wallrunning to its battle royale mode. YouTube and TikTok videos have been talking about it for a while, but Epic Games hasn’t officially said anything yet.

Fortnite’s movement is really fun! Players have done amazing things, like using the Shockwave Hammer to bounce or flying with Iron-Man gauntlets. Fortnite always adds new ways to move, which keeps the game exciting.

The game’s movement system has changed a lot since it first came out. Now, you can sprint, mantle, climb, and slide. The game is very different from when Fortnite started as a survival game in 2017.

In Creative, players can use many of the cool features from the battle royale mode, but some things, like Spider-Man’s gauntlets, can’t be used unless they are changed due to copyright stuff.

Fans get excited when new movement tricks show up in Creative. Duuk’s map is their first big project, and if it becomes popular, it might inspire others to make even cooler maps with wallrunning.

While wallrunning is what makes duuk’s map special, it also stands out because it uses a first-person view. This mode hasn’t been fully added to battle royale yet, but Creative users got to try it out as an experimental feature in October 2024. Not all weapons and features work with it yet, though.

Fortnite Creative keeps getting better with new tools from Unreal Editor. Creators can now use different camera views, like top-down, to make games that feel unique. Wallrunning, a fun idea from other games, is now part of Fortnite’s Creative world, thanks to these innovative creators.
