Indiana Jones Great Circle Nearly Two Movies Worth of Cutscenes

-

Though the Indiana Jones movies have wrapped up, fans can look forward to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which promises plenty of action and adventure.

The creative mastermind at MachineGames, Axel Torvenius, shared on the MinnMax YouTube channel that this new game will feature close to four hours of cutscenes. “It’s about three hours and 45 or 40 minutes, give or take,” he said, calling it “the biggest and longest game that MachineGames have ever done.”

Interestingly, the storyline hasn’t changed much since Todd Howard shared the initial idea with George Lucas back in 2009, before Disney swooped in to buy Lucasfilm. Torvenius also mentioned that players won’t face automatic failures during stealth parts, unlike what happened in Star Wars Outlaws until its patch fixed that issue.

People sometimes wonder how developers come up with these ideas, but we just enjoy the magic.

The adventure will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC starting December 9, while PlayStation 5 users must wait until Spring 2025. Meanwhile, everyone can indulge in a special Indiana Jones menu at IHOP’s International Bank of Pancakes across the nation.
