Juice WRLD’s Fortnite Island & Xbox Controllers Launch

-

This weekend, Fortnite is hosting the Remix Finale Event featuring Juice WRLD, even though he left us in 2019.

Gamers who log in this week can snag a cool cel-shaded Juice WRLD skin for free when they come back to play. Besides this new outfit and the big event, there’s also a special Fortnite island being created in his memory using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). It’s pretty neat how they keep his music alive through these creative ideas.

The Juice WRLD island is a collaboration between Interscope Records, his estate, and some other folks. It’s all set up to match his last album, The Party Never Ends. The island features a race up a tower, and if players get tired, they can chill at the Xbox lounge and enjoy some of his music that hasn’t been released before. Plus, there are more Juice WRLD-themed items and tunes scattered around.

Fans love how Juice WRLD is still part of the gaming world.

Juice WRLD really loved Xbox, and to honor him, Xbox Design Lab has crafted two new controllers with designs inspired by him. Epic didn’t make these controllers, but you can check them out here.

The Party Never Ends drops on Friday, November 29, and the island will be available the next day. Plus, Xbox is throwing a Fortnite tournament at the United Center in Chicago on November 30. It’s gonna have Juice WRLD Island, guest performers, and it’s all about celebrating him.

After the Remix Finale, Fortnite OG makes its big return in December for good. And guess what? Godzilla is stomping into Fortnite in Chapter 6 next month! But before all that excitement, players can vote for the Game Awards right inside Fortnite. How cool is that?
