Christopher Judge, the voice behind Kratos in the God of War games, recently shut down some rumors swirling around.
Judge took to social media to make it clear that any gossip about him hinting at the future of God of War during an Instagram Live session was “absolutely not true.” He explained, “You can’t tease something you know nothing about.” While chatting with fans on Instagram, he mentioned upcoming announcements about his projects, but he never said anything about God of War or Sony. However, this didn’t stop folks from speculating that he might have hinted at a new God of War game. Judge cleared things up by saying, “I will be making announcements in the near future; I can guarantee none of them will be about OUR beloved God of War,” and added that he, just like everyone else, is waiting for news on what’s next.

People sometimes get excited over nothing.
The latest God of War games, set in the world of Norse gods, won’t be getting a third installment. Judge played Kratos, while Sunny Suljic took on the role of Atreus. Christopher Judge even snagged the Best Performance award at the 2022 Game Awards, sharing a memorable moment with Al Pacino. The last game, God of War Ragnarok, came out in 2022, courtesy of Sony Santa Monica. Although the studio hasn’t revealed any new projects, Cory Barlog, a key figure in the series, has hinted at working on something fresh, possibly a brand new story.
