This week marks a new beginning for Star Wars Outlaws as the game launches its first story DLC, Wild Card.
A fresh trailer from Ubisoft shows how Kay Vess and her pals end up on a wild ride with Lando Calrissian, though they seem to start off as enemies. In the world of outlaws, having a good reputation is super important. The Empire uses this to force Kay into working for them, threatening to reveal her as their agent, which would put a target on her back. To avoid this, Kay needs to win a tricky Sabacc tournament against top players, who might cheat just like Lando.
It’s pretty clear that things will get messy when Lando and Kay flee on her spaceship. What happens after that is a mystery, but it’s a fun way to hint at what’s next in the DLC. Ubisoft also released a huge update, getting rid of those annoying stealth missions. Now, Kay can blast her way out of trouble without failing.
