Pocketpair spilled the beans about this on Palworld’s official X account, and they also mentioned that a new update is on the horizon.

Palworld and Terraria are like night and day. Terraria goes for that old-school 2D sandbox feel, while Palworld is all about 3D worlds and Pokémon-like gameplay. How these two will mix is anyone’s guess. Maybe characters from one will pop up in the other.

Despite Nintendo’s lawsuit, Pocketpair isn’t backing down. They launched Palworld on PlayStation 5 recently, even in Japan, where they’re dealing with legal issues. Nintendo says Palworld stepped on three of its patents, seeking about $33,000 in damages, which is also the amount they want from The Pokemon Company. Meanwhile, Pocketpair teamed up with Sony to form Palworld Entertainment, aiming to grow their brand with new merchandise and licensing options.
